| The Chiffonier is a George III late 18th progression from a cabinet, which by the Regency period, added top shelves, brass work and loved rosewood. As with many items, as time progressed, the style grew heavier and more ornate. Cabinets come in many forms from the useful two door unit to multi use creations.
